The regional Direction of Oran was create in 1991 by order of 02/10/1991 on implantation, territorial jurisdiction and organization of the regional inspectorates of the economic surveys and the repression of fraud. Its seat is located in the city Abou Bakr Belkaid Bir El Djir ORAN, and annex five (05) Wilayas among other : ORAN - TLEMCEN - SIDI BEL ABBES - A.TEMOUCHENT - MOSTAGANEM It is responsible for : - to ensure the coordination of the activities of the directions of wilayasof trade, particularly as regards economic control and fraud prevention; - to prepare in connection with the headquarters and branches ofwilayas of trade control programmes and to ensure their implementation. its coordinates the Organization of operations control interwilayas; -to achieve the economic surveys requiring multidisciplinary teams and regional competence, to organize and implement the brigades for thesupport of these missions; -to establish periodic summaries of assessments of the activities of thedirections of trade wilayas; -to carry out inspections of wilayas of trade within its competenceterritorial directorates and services of the organizations under theMinistry of trade, ensuring compliance with the standards, methods and procedures for their operation and their intervention.
